Around the Horn
Each day in our personal and professional lives, we find ourselves presented with opportunities and confronted by challenges. Certain moments stand out. Stories develop in real time. Patterns emerge. Questions arise.
Hi, my name is Tony Sarsam, and I am blessed to lead a wonderful company and to also find profound joy as a husband and father of a large family. These two worlds—the personal and professional—collide in my world as I’m sure they do in yours.
Fundamentally, I believe we have an obligation to do our best—for ourselves, each other and the world as a whole. High minded? Maybe, but doing our best plays out in real life on a daily basis through the decisions we make.
This blog celebrates the blessings, not just from my own experience but also in the gathering of what other people and organizations experience. And certainly, there are also threats and challenges. I’ll cover those too to avoid being trapped by errors.
Jackie Robinson once said, “Life is not a spectator sport. If you’re going to spend your whole life in the grandstand just watching what goes on, in my opinion you’re wasting your life.”
It’s game time. Let’s take it around the horn—me to you, you to another, that person to the next and on it goes. Each connection opens new opportunities. Are you ready? The ball is already in play.
